GOSHEN FIRM AWARDED PREFERRED TRAINING PARTNER STATUS
FOR INDIANA SCHOOLS
Hoosier Educational Computer Coordinators (HECC) taps MapleTraining
to offer computer training courses to staffs of Indiana schools (K-12)
(Goshen, IN) Mike Gibson, President of the Hoosier Educational Computer
Coordinators (HECC) announced on March 27, 2006, that MapleTraining
(a division of MapleTronics Computers, Goshen, Indiana) has been selected
as the preferred training partner for HECC members for the 2006-07 school
year.
MapleTraining will provide computer education services
for HECC members on both software application and technical education
topics such as Microsoft, Novell, Cisco, CompTIA, EC-Council, and security
within the education environment.
HECC, as an organization, provides services and workshops
to Indiana K-12 schools, highlighted every year in November with the
HECC Conference in Indianapolis. Its stated mission is to "provide
those charged with implementing education technology in Indiana schools
with timely information and resources in order to improve communication,
efficiency, and the integration of technology". (Visit the HECC
